Charter yacht EQUINOX has stylish accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 spacious cabins. The master suite offers a walk around king size bed, two cedar lined walk in closets, entertainment system with flat screen TV, Direct TV and en-suite marble tiled facilities with shower. The VIP cabin has a queen size bed, cedar lined closet, TV, stereo entertainment and en-suite facilities with shower. The twin guests cabin features 2 single beds (convertible into one large bed), TV, stereo entertainment and en-suite facilities with shower.
Price Details
TERM CHARTERS: Weekly Rate plus 40% APA plus 4% Bahamas Taxes plus 10% Bahamas VAT
(Due to increase of fuel prices in the Bahamas)
High rate weeks are Christmas and NYE, all other weeks are low rate.
DAY CHARTERS:
$7,000 plus 4% Tax, plus 10% VAT for 8 guests and $100 for each additional guest to Rose Island (maximum 12 guests)
20% mandatory crew gratuity for day charters – needs to be collected at the time of contract

- 8 hour cruise
-Continental Breakfast, Surf and Turf Lunch, Snacks, Open Bar and Beverages for up to 8 guests. (house wines, beer and standard liquor – no premium brands)
- Dockage at Bay Street Marina is also included but transportation to Bay Street Marina is charterer's expense.
- 28 foot Novurania launch series tender.
- Gratuity is not included in the base rate and is 20%

Rotational Captain - FC Lubbe

FC, born in 1980, is from Empangeni a town in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa approximately 157 kilometres north of Durban, in hilly countryside, overlooking a flat coastal plain and the major harbour town of Richards Bay 16 kilometres away.
Having parents that are avid deep-sea anglers, the ocean has never been a stranger to him. He received his provincial fishing colours at the age of 13. He gained his Skippers license at age 18 and skippered this fathers ski-boats over weekends for fishing tournaments and family days. He studied Business Management at Richtec College in Richard’s Bay. Since then he has built a stable international maritime career.
He started his maritime career on board an MSC Cruise Ship in the Mediterranean at 19. Staying in touch with his fishing passion, he took up a Fishing guide position for five years in Dubai where he often traveled to Muscat, Oman and The Maldives. During his time in Dubai, he discovered the yachting industry. FC did his Yacht Master License and started a seven-year-long career in 2010 with the Impulsive Group yachts onboard Impulsive Too an 82-ft Sunseeker and Impulsive a 126-ft Norship. The yachts traveled to the Mediterranean, Caribbean and The Bahamas. FC discovered The Bahamas five years ago on board Impulsive Too, where he immediately fell in love with the Bahamian archipelago, culture and friendly nature of the Bahamian people.
In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, reading up on history, playing a round of golf, and can also be found working on his jeep. FC’s experience and ability will make your time on board Equinox both safe and enjoyable.
Rotational Captain - Anders Bungaard

Captain Anders, also known as Captain Andy is an expert in yachting through the Bahamas and Exumas, bringing more than three decades of experience to EQUINOX. His father was in the Danish Merchant Marine, and inspired Captain Andy as a young child. They purchased a sailboat together in 1983, and Captain Andy never looked back. He launched his career in Coconut Grove, Florida, and first sailed to the Bahamas two years later. Throughout his career, he has worked on
sailboats, charters, and regattas, sailing between New York and the Bahamas/Caribbean, San Francisco and Hawaii, and along the coast of Mexico and the Panama Canal. A career highlight is launching the 110’ ALPHA CENTAURI with his father, which is the first yacht that Captain Andy served as captain. Captain Andy can’t wait to welcome guests aboard EQUINOX for an unforgettable charter experience.
Stew - Rosanna Caley

Rosanna has been in the yachting industry for many years now, mostly working the busy seasons in the Bahamas. She has experience on board a variety of motor yachts including M/Y BELLA CONTESSA, M/Y EXIT STRATEGY, and more. Rosanna is extremely knowledgeable about everything regarding the interior of the vessel, from interior detailing to themed events. She is even culinary trained with years of experience as a chef. Being a resident of the Bahamas herself, Rosanna enjoys sharing her knowledge of the island with the guests while providing first class service. She can be described as a positive, upbeat individual who loves making people happy. In her spare time, you can find Rosanna sailing, diving, cooking, or golfing
Mate - Shawn Archer
Nationality: Canadian
Education/Certifications: YM 200 Offshore, STCW –95/ Marine Advanced First Aid & CPR, Intermediate Cruising License and Pleasure Craft Operator

Shawn hails from Quebec, Canada, with over 100,000 nautical miles on both motor and sailing vessels. He has worked onboard commercial, charter, and private boats for close to 20 years, including 14 winters based in Nassau with heavy charter and deliveries throughout the Exumas and Eleuthera. He now returns on board EQUINOX after previously working on the vessel in 2017. Over the years he has gained extensive knowledge on marine life and navigation. With local insight into reefs, sand banks, diving and fishing spots off the beaten track, guests are to experience an unforgettable adventure with Shawn. Along with good standing among the people of The Bahamas, he considers the island to be his second home.
Chef - Francina Smith

Francina is a Bahamian native with over 15 years of culinary experience. She pays extreme attention to detail and thoughtfully curates each menu with guest preferences in mind. Francina’s land-based experience includes Assistant Restaurant Manager and Sous Chef at Baha Mar Golf Course Royal Blue Tavern in Nassau. She also has years of experience as a private chef where she organized and catered private dinners and parties on both estates and on yachts. Extensively trained on how to follow food handling guidelines, Francina offers guests the peace of mind that their food is prepared to the highest of standards. She is able to cook a
variety of cuisines and can cater to most dietary restrictions. Francina anxiously awaits her opportunity to enhance every guest’s vacation experience on board EQUINOX with each meal she prepares.
